I have had the privilege of serving on this committee over the past 15 years under the very capable leadership of 3 presidents - Barbara, Bee Ann and Sharm. As I assume the role of President of the Alumnae Association, I am keenly aware that I am standing on the shoulders of giants who have come before me. They have each, in their own special way, left a legacy of dedicated service and leadership and I am immensely grateful for their continued guidance and commitment to the Alumnae Association. I know that our committee work is very much a team effort, and I look forward to continue working with with these remarkable ladies as well as the rest of our newly appointed committee to find new ways to connect and engage with our larger Alumnae community.

Looking ahead, we have some exciting activities lined up for Term 3. We start the term with our annual praise and worship event Love MG which will be held on Friday, 5th July. This is followed by Founder's Day Dinner which will be held at Orchard Hotel on Thursday, 25th July. We end the term with Alumnae Day on Saturday, 17th August, which is an opportunity to come back and participate in Past Vs Present Games as well as wander through the MGS Heritage Gallery and grab a bite in the school canteen. More details will be available on our social media channels closer to the date. We hope that you will not only save the dates for these events but also spread the word and encourage fellow alumnae to join us. Let's make these events a celebration of our shared heritage and a testament to the enduring bond that unites us all. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events!
