Greetings from our President
Dear Alumna,
This past year, we’ve come together to honour our heritage, to celebrate our shared identity as MGS girls, and to find new ways to stay connected across generations. From long-standing traditions like our annual Founder’s Day Dinner, Past vs Present Games during Alumnae Day, to fresh initiatives that bring new energy to our community, it’s been heartening to see so many of you show up with warmth, with enthusiasm, and with love for our alma mater.
We have just celebrated our 138th Founders’ Day, which was a wonderful reminder that we are part of something far greater than ourselves. Generations of women have walked through the gates of MGS, carrying with them a spirit of courage, compassion, and conviction. As alumnae, we continue that legacy, not only by looking back, but by stepping forward with purpose.
One of our joys this year has been finding new ways to engage and have a little fun along the way. If you haven’t already heard, we launched monthly pickleball sessions this year, held on the last Monday of every month. It’s been a hit with alumnae from all walks of life, and we’d love for you to join us.
To stay updated on this and other upcoming events, do keep an eye on our social media channels on both Facebook and Instagram. Whether it’s a reunion, a casual catch-up, or a meaningful cause, there’s always something happening and we’d love to see more of you!
I’m deeply grateful to the alumnae who have served alongside me on the committee, to the school leadership who continue to inspire with their dedication, and to every old girl who has taken time to show up, give back, or simply stay connected. Your presence matters. Your stories matter.
Thank you for your continued support, your presence, and your heart. As we look ahead, may we continue to grow this community with joy, wisdom, and grace. The MGS spirit is alive and well, and together, we’ll continue to master, to grow, and to serve.
